LIVIN' LIFE Talks: North Springs High School
I got a chance to visit one of my old teachers, Mr. Kevin Taylor (KT is what the students call him), at Norths Springs Charter High School in Atlanta, GA. KT teaches a class called Jobs for Georgia Graduates (JGG) to high school seniors and juniors. JGG is a school-to-work transition program designed to provide high school students with pre-employment training, work skills, motivational activities, and job development.
KT was nice enough to let me speak to the students in his 3 classes. I spoke with them about credit, college, and being an entrepreneur. When I was in high school I really had no knowledge about credit, which is something that I think every high school student should know about. So, I was thrilled to be able to share my knowledge with the students. They were very attentive and had a lot of questions about credit, college and business. I am truly thankful for this opportunity to be able to "Pay It Forward".
